№2 FRANEK
intimate spaces №2 takes us to the studio apartment of the painter FRANEK. Paper works, paintings as well as unknown works from her collection from different creative phases of the artist are shown.
FRANEK is a painter, draugtswoman and graphic artist. Sculptures, photos, films and recordings complete her work. Her first solo exhibition took place in 1968 in the legendary gallery Pels-Leusden in Berlin. Further national and international exhibitions followed until today.
She taught at the Berlin University of the Arts, Academy of Industrial Design and Art in Helsinki and Lahti, at the Bremen University of the Arts and at stanford University, Palo Alto CA, USA.
Her works are in important German and international collections, i.a. in the German Bundestag, Berlin.
FRANEK lives and works in Berlin and Radegast, Gemany.
